Re: [BLACKBOX] Clipboard or BlackBox?
Doug
When you are doing these experiments are you using 'Paste' in Word, or 'Paste Special'? I guess Paste.
(Wordpad has a Paste Special option, I assume Word does too.)
Paste Special usually gives you a choice of formats, Paste, I guess, uses the format that the program thinks is the most powerful.
It would be interesting to know precisely what formats are being used in the observations you report below. By experimenting with Paste Special
you can probably work out which format Paste is using in each case.
When you report below that 'mixed content' does not work is Word importing the 'Rich Text (RTF)' format? My guess is that is where the restriction lies.
Strictly speaking none of the clipboard formats are the BlackBox file format.

Folks,
I am back to considering the BlackBox file format to be the
culprit of why "mixed content" can not be pasted int MS Word.
Summary
(1) Individual type (text, bitmaps, MathType equations) can be copied from BB and pasted into Word.
(2) Combinations of those types, selected and copied, can not be pasted into Word (only the text is pasted).
(3) Word can accept mixed content copied from web pages (I just tested that).
Hence I now believe that sequences of BlackBox types is the problem.
Could this be related to how BB changes (attributes) from one type to the next?
If so, is there a (special) way to suppress that effect for the purpose of copy and paste to non-BB documents?
