Do you think it's allright about service pack 1 ?

Dear BlackBox Users,

first I would like to say thank you to everybody who send me an answer to my
email about "What is wrong with service pack 1". And my special thanks to
Gérard Meunier who figured it out and solved all problems.

Yesterday I uploaded a corrected (running) version of Desktop and Pac to
CPC.

The reason is that the interface contract of 1.4+SP1 is stronger than 1.4 -
it is as strong as version 1.2

The moral of that story is: Don't use the Close commands except you have the
file exclusive open. Otherwise you may get a "dangling pointer" and changes
of open documents may be lost. There are other modules in CPC which must be
corrected.
E.g.: Dos, GftSearch and so on ...

The new rule of independencies of subsystem is: A faulty subsystem can break
a open working document.

How to reproduce it? Here is a simple sequence of steps:
1. Make a copy of directory Obx and call it Obx1
2. Start BlackBox 1.4+SP1
3. Open any document inside the Obx directory and do some change on that
document.
4. Don't save that change of the document.
5. Run my "erroneous" subsystem Dos -> Abgleich and select
        Source: Obx
        Destination: Obx1
        _ Quick Compare
Remove the x from Quick Compare and press Compare
6. This run breaks your document. All your changes are lost.

Well, if the client doesn't obey the interface rules, it is alright that
changes of other documents are lost ...

Regards

Helmut
