Two questions about Text

Hello:

  two brief questions. Does anybody know what is the rule concerning
tab alignment in program texts which have no rulers? I am always
puzzled why my comments do not line up on the display. I usually
use the Arial font which is the BB default. Often I put some trailing
comment in the line which I begin with "//"... oops, I meant "(*".
For aesthetic reasons would be nice if these beginning "(*" could
be aligned. Somehow usually they do not align, but sometimes they do.
I have not discerned any rule concerning the use of tab characters
to align the "(*" on consequtive lines. Anybody knows the rule?

Another question. On my machine the wheel mouse support is weird.
When I put a Tool dialog in front of the Text and use the wheel
to scroll the Text window, the display gets garbled. Is this a problem
with the mouse installation or with the Text windows? If I use
the scroll bars the display is not garbled. But when scrolling with
the wheel it gets garbled.

If you have a wheel mouse try putting the Find dialog in front
of a Text and use the wheel, and see what happens. I am not sure
if this has or has not been patched yet. I noticed the problem
under Windows 98 and Logitech optical mouse which has a wheel.
The visual scrolling is enabled under Edit->Preferences.

These are not high priority problems. I am just curious.
