Dear BB users,

I received the question about large files - see below. Maybe someone can help Mr. League.

With best regards

Betreff: a question about huge files

Dear Mr. Zinn,

Is there a way to open/read/stream (any of the above) files whose lengths are longer than can be contained in an INTEGER?

I looked at the System.Files definitions of File and found the length to be an INTEGER. I briefly explored the prospects of converting that to a LONGINT, but found a dependency in WinApi which I deemed to be immutable.

Is there a module that would allow me to open some of my really large data files?

Thanks,

Richard League
