Dear community,

I am also a fan of the BlackBox environment, I use it non-commercially
and I have my own build of BB environment for cross-platform development
- https://github.com/Oleg-N-Cher/BB-XDev/

I want to particularly thank OMinc for the wise decision to simplify the
license, - it breathes new life and sends BlackBox to a free-swimming.
OMinc may be will not recognize a baby after many years, but it is much
more humane than bury it. Thanks very much!

It is not difficult to place BlackBox's source code on Github or
Sourceforge, I think a lot of people (myself included) do attach patches
and make the BlackBox better.

But we, all BlackBox Community, need an authoritative core, which will
be responsible for making decisions. For example, I made a patch that
removes the limit on the size of the code procedures -
https://github.com/Oleg-N-Cher/BB-XDev/commit/da6f2e0286f8888ed90b72d2e716022a8a16feca

I am confident in the correctness of the patch, and I am of course very
interested to all builds of BB included it, but who will make the final
decision?

Of course, I understand that as a result of the development of the
project can be divided into several branches, much like Linux, but that
we should welcome.

I'm not as authoritative, but is willing to give time and attention
feasible, taking into account my ability to develop some patches for
BlackBox. Also, if you wish, you can use the forum of our Oberon Club -
http://zx.oberon2.ru/forum for this activity. Russian is not necessary.

I wish BlackBox long live and grow! Thank you.

P.S. I've used BB1.6-rc6 under Windows XP 64 bit not very active, but
without problems.
