[BLACKBOX] Illegal Memory Access with Windows 7 - Update

I have just returned to this issue after being busy on other topics ….

I have installed the patches previously discussed, and no longer experience the avalanches of low-level trap windows.

However, under Windows 7 (64 bit), when my application tries to allocate new Heap memory there is a limit. When the limit is exceeded a NIL

Pointer is returned, which is detected in the usual way, by opening a single Trap Window with active blue diamonds. Ok so far.

But the limit seems to be about 802 million bytes.

When I copy the entire BlackBox directory, with NO changes, back to XP (64-bit), the limit is over 1590 million bytes; TWICE as much.

I shall try to create a (*simple*) test programme to see if it behaves in the same way.
