Roman Miro gave the idea to make the step back to Oberon/F...
http://forum.oberoncore.ru/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=4456&hilit=oberon+astrobe&start=60#p81909

Now I think that is very good idea.

oberonf and oberon-f are free for all zones (com, org, etc.)

oberonf.org ?

Yes. I agree. I think we should create new brand name. For example when the community has created a new opensource BeOS project, first project name was OpenBeOS, and later it was renamed to Haiku ( https://www.haiku-os.org/ ).

'BlackBox' isn't unique on internet, google gives us some other 'blackbox' on first page, but oberoncore is unique and follows us right up to BBCF donwload page.

I think that it is too generic name for BlackBox project.

I think oberoncore.org is OK for international domain name. Well known name in .org zone, perfect.

I propose that the new domain name, whatever it will be, will be bought not by one person but with Blackbox Center (whatever it's name will be then) as owner. One can make the purchase and then price can be divided by the number of center members who then reimburse the buyer via paypal or whatever paying method they like. That way, the domain name is not property of one but of all center members.

How about this as an alternative: ProjectBlackBox.org

[possible conflicts: Sun Modular Datacenter (Sun MD, known in the prototype phase as Project Blackbox) is a portable data center built into a standard 20-foot intermodal container]
