I've never had satisfactory results using font sizes other than Normal on
Windows XP - every application exhibits different problems. I always
recommend setting font size to Normal and using a lower screen resolution
instead. How well this works depends on the number of different resolution
settings available with your graphics card and (at the risk of stating the
obvious!) will benefit from using a larger screen as well.

Windows 7 seems to handle non-normal fonts differently i.e there are three
possible settings: 100%, 125% and 150%.

We found (unexpectedly) on our system that 150% worked OK with our software
but haven't tried it with BlackBox. The 125% setting exhibited the same sort
of problems as non-normal fonts on XP.

Chris
