Designing fonts for Windows is not for the faint-hearted -
I'd exhaust all other possibilities first if I were you. The
standard Windows 'Symbol' font has the symbols for "partial
derivative" and "integral" - I don't know what "gradient"
should look like.
You can use the Windows applet 'Character map' to view the
symbols (and copy / paste) them if you want.
Windows Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools >
Character Map
If they're no good, the Mathematica fonts might be better:
