It is true that BlackBox is somewhat slow when you try to open large .txt files, but it is not that
slow. I just created a text about 5.33 MB long. In BlackBox 1.4 Beta this opens in about 5 seconds
(wall clock). This time is indeed due to the format conversion, but it is about 1 tenth of the time
you measured. Is there something special about your text?
