I had mixed successes with using it (digging from memory):
It did not work on my Win95 with Netscape installed (as far
as I remember, it hung my system, therefore I removed
the entries from the menu system).
On a freshly installed Win98 system it worked ok.
After installing Netscape it ceased to work (after a
call to either of both entries it the menu entries were
greyed out).
It does not work on an NT system with pegasus (16 Bit
Version 2.53) being the default mailer (greyes out the
menu entries).
It looks to me that the non MS MAPI implementations are
deficient.
