What are StdTables

Colleagues - in browsing the slides from the BB developer's meeting, the
slide concerning the User Interface & Documents in the BB v 1.4 presentation
has one item called "StdTables". Could somebody in the "know" please post a
note explaining what this is (perhaps even the Doc?)? - since it sounds like
something that I would like to use, and knowledge now might save me some
effort with regards to something that I am working on.
