Query about: Wildcards, locators, pathnames, filenames, types, extensions and all that stuff

I would need in BCF 1.3 something similar to the DOS calls

   find first & find next matching filename (Int 21H, Function 11H & 12H)

I know: BCF has locators (which are related to pathnames)
        BCF has types (which are related to extensions)
        BCF has filenames (which are the same (?) as filenames)

I can do a Files.FileList, but it does not allow to specify WildCards.

Ofcourse, I could do a Files.FileList and try to extract from the
unsorted list the corresponding matching names, but that looks to
me like reinventing the wheel.

Any ideas ?
