Thank you very much that is indeed what I want.
Everyone keeps referring to Matlab but their price is exorbitant
and I can't afford it (as a commercial license).

Hmm, not quite what I expected but then again it might work for me.
My interest is in creating mathematical equations using a stylus
(or finger) on the tablet which will entail image recognition,
conversion to text form, syntax checking, logic checking
(ala Prolog) and equation execution (symbolic and numeric).
All of that written in BB/CP so I would need a 'pen' mapper into
something that BB could handle.

Yes, five minutes ago (well, sort of!).
I run BlackBox on my desktop remotely from an iPad using TeamViewer 7
(

The iPad screen is not ideal for navigating around a dual large monitor setup.
But I can image it could have its uses.
(I got two big new screens for Christmas, my son got the iPad.)
