I second that statement. I am just now going through a pretty unpleasant
discussion with Linux developers from a large company. They break the
client code all the time. Morover, when they do, they blame the problem on
someone else who did not submit their "patches" to Linus Torvalds on time.
And when the "patches" do not arrive, they just remove the chip driver
from their next Linux distribution (without advance warning) despite the
fact that someone has designed hardware relying on that chip. And when
asked a question, they get offended.

I can only scratch my head over the Linux developers who apparently think
they rule the planet and everyone else should submit a "patch" to The
King. And if not, the Linux developers will deliver the punishment and
wash their hands.

A true story. It is beyond me why this crowd are ruling the software
world.

All in all, stick with Oberon and Component Pascal whose developers are
extremely responsible people.
