Hallo Rainer Neubauer,

thanks for the flowers.

there is absolutely no difference between a "server" and a "normal"
installation of BlackBox, except that the in a server installation the
installation directory is considered "read only" and all new files are
created in the path specified by the /USE option. It is also useful
to change the current working directory to the path used in the /USE
option.

I'm using it routinely and rarely use BB in "normal" mode.

It is a wonderful way to manage different projects and it is an easy
way to try out low level changes. The latter can be "undone" by
simply stopping BlackBox, deleting the code files and restarting BB.

It is similar to specifying a path.

Feel free to ask additional questions ...

regards
    Bernhard
