Stopping program execution & screwed up menu

Hi,

Whenever a program is stuck in a permanent loop, the only recourse seems to
be Cntl-Alt-Delete and then stopping BlackBox via the Windows Task Manager.
When restarting BlackBox the top menu "File Edit Attributes Info Devs Tools
etc." gets screwed up and repeats itself accross the top. The only remedy is
then to reinstall BlackBox.
This is getting really annoying (I don't want to put ASSERTS in everywhere).

Any solutions to both issues?
