Dear Wolfgang, dear Doug,

I still have the same problem with BlackBox 1.3.3 I can't open a saved
registry file (txt-format) which is 23 MByte long. If I do so, I wait
forever ...

But if I use BlackBox 1.4 Beta this problem no longer exist. It is working
...

Regards

Helmut Zinn

Doug

It is true that BlackBox is somewhat slow when you try to open large .txt
files, but it is not that
slow. I just created a text about 5.33 MB long. In BlackBox 1.4 Beta this
opens in about 5 seconds
(wall clock). This time is indeed due to the format conversion, but it is
about 1 tenth of the time
you measured. Is there something special about your text?
