Re: Selecting documents in 1.4 beta

Some more information : In 1.3.x the Log, the Repository, and the
game BlackBox could all be selected. In 1.4 beta only the game can
be selected!

I tried the find&replace in 1.3 on the Log. When I selected the
Log the buttons did not disappear, although the replace field went grey.
This did not seem to be much of a problem.

In my work I draw graphs which illustrate aspects of the system performance.
As I change design parameters it is useful to take 'snapshot' copies so
that I can easily do before and after comparisons. In 1.3 I simply selected the
graph and dragged it to some empty desktop. Now I have to save the graph
document to disc, save it again with a second name, then read in the first
copy. An undesirable side effect is that this changes the original
window name.

Is there an easier way? And how do I insert a graph view into a text document
(such as a report) other than programmatically?

!!I think this is intended. In 1.3.x you could open a dialog (e.g.
find&replace),
!!select the document and then you could resize it (the buttons disappeared).
!!This was considered as a feature which should be disabled and which
!!was disabled for 1.4.
